"PULL!" The Loughs and Baughmans gratefully busted some trap on Thanksgiving Day. Thankful for ALL our wonderful family, great friends, and delectable food on this blessed Thanksgiving!
Last weekend, we enjoyed the beautiful weather in Deep River Iowa, at Widmer's Rock and Roll Arena. Thanks to all of those who help put on this great event. Daisy, Bill and there beautiful riders are always turning and burning with smiles and laughter. As always, my trusty sidekick (Grandma Suzy) and I love watching them participate! Way to end a great season, cowgirls!
Miss Brett is participating 7th grade volleyball. This is her second year playing volleyball, she mostly plays as the setter, and serves very well. They are learning and improving every game. Go Mustangs!
Yep, we are all back to school, look out middle school, 5th and 7th! Brett is also playing 7th grade volleyball, Go Shetlands! First game is in a few weeks. Briley have a locker this year and is a little nervous about opening it! As for me, year 15... Holy smokes!
Love, love, loved our family vacation in the Ozarks this year! Blake and I kayaked each morning. We swam, floated, boated, and relaxed each day. The girls all tried to water ski. Grandpa Jim convinced the go-kart worker to "rig" his machine so he could beat everyone in the race. And last but not least... I THOUGHT I MIGHT DIE WHILE PARASAILING!! WAY TO HIGH FOR ME!!!
Happy 10th birthday Babydoll! You rock! Be you, be true, be NICE, be the amazing you! We enjoyed the birthday party with friends and family at grandpa's cabin with supper, fireworks, cake, and 10 Chinese lanterns! Super fun night!
As most of you know our dog Tipsy has been a little hard on the chicken this winter, so we hatched new babies! Bri is there coach while they are peeking out. She whispers encouraging words above the incubator. Happy Easter!
Last week Miss Brett tuned 12... We celebrated by going to Widmer's Rodeo, she had 2 friends stay over night, and hamburgers ice cream and cake with the family! Big Times Birthday Girl!
We have started a new adventure here on the ranch... 4-h pigs! We invested in a few Hereford pigs for Miss Brett and Hereford, black Poland China cross spotted pigs for Briley Jo.
