The girls and their powerful shovels attempted to clear grandma porch today... Key word attempted!  Next time, they need better shovels!

Harvest

 

Harvest time... corn this year!  The girls and I even took lunch to the field... look out Pioneer Women, but yes I used a few of her recipes and foil wrapping packing techniques, thanks PW!

VACATION

 

Again we traveled to Estes Park to the Craig Reunion. We enjoyed the beautiful mountains, playing wiffleball, mini golf with the pro grandma, swimming, and an awesome talent show.

Then, for another few more days we continued our "out west" adventure to Laramie, Wyoming to this beautiful log home.  We grilled, relaxed, played tetherball, hiked, and enjoyed awesome weather... perfect cool, coffee, drinking mornings and no aircondictioning needed in the afternoons. 

One day we drove up into the mountains to Albany Lodge and rode ATV's on trails... amazing beauty, jealous of the kayaker, scary HUGE rock, fantastic experience, LOVE THIS COUNRTY!!!

Horses and Hogs

DC Fair 2015... Herford Hogs and Horses... that's how we roll.  Miss B had a super horse show winning senior showmanship, western pleasure, and top 10 rate of gain with a pig.  Halfpint rocked the speed events in the horse show, and loves her helmet!  Way to go Chequest Eagles!

Dreams Coming True!

 

Halfpint and Daisy performed for the first '"real" rodeo.  They teamed up with the Sara, Sara, and Dally, as the Shooting Star Trick Riders.  A video of the performance in on you tube, if you search Shooting Star Tick Riders.  What a perfect day to make a dream come true! Happy 11th Birthday Halfpint, what a beautiful one foot fly-way!!!

 

 

All Stars

Our little ladies both made All-Stars this year.  Way to go little Mustangs! Good Luck!

Angels in the Outfield

We have started our softball seasons.  The girls are both on the Angels team in Little League here in Bloomfield. Miss B plays on the DC Lady Stangs, they have fun and look GREAT... super cool uniforms.   Halfpint plays on DC Lightning 10U traveling team... awesome team, fantastic coach, wonderful parents and families, and a AMAZING team unity with those girls!  Love watching our little "Angels in the Outfield!"

Valentines Dance

Miss B went to her first Valentine's Dance.  What beautiful ladies these little ball players can be!

So Cute!!!

These little creatures are so cute when they are little.  I love the fuzzy, little blatting beasts.  It's a little sad that in 4 short months I (we) will be flanking and tying them, and they will be this years RODEO STOCK!

Basketball

We have sent many hours watching the girls play basketball this winter.  Yep, Brett jumped... and actually got it... AWESOME!  And little Miss Halfpint... you can read her like a book... she hasn't fouled out yet, but I'm sure it's coming!
